One of my favorite things about Beatitudes Missions (and coincidentally the inspiration for the blog's title) was their approach towards mission. I was used to mission and evangelization being something that was pushed towards aggressively and loudly, which can be a worthy pursuit in many cases. However, Beatitudes has a sense of mission being in the quiet, everyday experiences with others. Yes, Beatitudes asks to live out the Gospel in a pretty radical way, but they allow their way of life to attract people on its own. They do not ask for people to approach them in public or demand attention from everyone around them. Despite this, people are drawn towards the charisms and missions of Beatitudes simply because they have something worth participating in.
