ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a recent college graduate who is horrible at updating people she likes about her life. Considering the fact that I am embarking on a year of mission and service to God through Beatitudes Missions, my hopes are that this blog will change that habit. I  want to share about my experiences in mission, what I am doing in my day-to-day life, and sharing beautiful photos and stories of the people around me.

Beatitudes Missions strives to help lead young people to grow in worship, community, service, discernment and adventure in the Holy Spirit. What I love about Beatitudes is that they lead people to new discoveries in their faith including the Jewish roots of Catholicism, Byzantine liturgy, and Carmelite interior life. My personal goal is to begin to walk the path towards a total “self-gift” (Gaudium et Spes 24) as I immerse myself in the flow of community life. With so many years of personal education behind me, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to carry out a desire to serve others.

My personal tasks with Beatitudes Missions are to accompany pilgrims in their travels abroad, as well as executing pilgrimage planning and logistics for upcoming events. I also work on connecting with young adults and introducing them to the communal life of the Community of the Beatitudes, the religious order that Beatitudes Missions is connected to. While I work on these tasks, I will be participating in community life myself through daily prayer and immersion in the Community's homes in Denver, Lebanon, and beyond!
